I started creating this web site in 2011 but for one reason or another I never got round to either publishing what I had achieved or finish building the site. The following words were what I wrote then, I attempted to publish what I had achieved on this website in May/June 2020. It is now June 2022 and it has been published.

This is what I wrote: “Over the coming weeks we will attempt to put together some pages to introduce our family and a tribute to our son, Darren.

“We will also introduce the different support groups that have helped us on the journey that we didn't want to make. These pages will also show photos of that journey.

​

“Eventually we hope to be able to show photos of our previous life. In 1998 our lives were split into two, our own ‘BC’ and ‘AD’ or ‘Before Catastrophe’ and ‘After Darren’. So much of our time has been spent trying to cope with the ‘AD’ that we haven’t been able to put much energy into the ‘BC’ part.”
