Arthur William Humphrey was born 10th April 1921 and died 2007. Alice May Humphrey (née Dickerson) was born 10th October 1917 and died 6th May 2013. They met in Bushey, Hertfordshire, and got married 6th June 1942. They lived in Bushey all their married lives. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter.
Percy James (Jim) Howard was born 31st January 1911 and died 9th March 2000. Maude Hilda (Bunty) Howard (née Barton) was born 3rd September 1914 and died 21st April 1975. They lived in Harrow until they moved to Bushey in 1958. They had 1 son and 1 daughter.
Robert Charles (Bob) Humphrey was born 3rd March 1948 at the family home and was the third son of Arthur and Alice. He lived in Bushey until he got married.
Lynda Corrine Howard was born 22nd February 1952 in Bushey Maternity Hospital. She lived in Harrow until she was 6 when her parents moved to Bushey, where she lived until she got married.
Bob met Lynda in September 1967, they got engaged on Lynda’s 18th birthday, 22nd February 1970. They got married 22nd July 1972 at St. James’ Church, Bushey.
Their first home was in Watford, then moved to Luton after a year, where both of their children were born. In 1979 they moved to Watford, where they still live.
Michelle Humphrey was born in 1975. She was our first child and the first grandchild for both sets of grandparents.
She got married in 1994, had Chloe Linda Bennett in 1994. Michelle is divorced from Chloe’s father. She had Charles Darren Humphrey in 2011 and moved to the Forest of Dean area in 2013.
Darren Humphrey was born 15th December 1978 at Luton & Dunstable General Hospital. He was the first grandson for the paternal grandparents. He lived in Luton until the family moved to Watford in 1979. He lived in Watford until he died 31st August 1998. He was laid to rest at North Watford Cemetary.
A much-loved and missed son, brother, uncle and grandson.
Chloe Linda Bennett was born in 1994 in Watford , she was the 1st and only child of Michelle and Kevin James Bennett. She is our 1st grandchild. Chloe lived in the Watford area until 2015 when she moved to Milton Keynes to live with her partner, Nick Timms. They have a daughter, Isabelle Grace Timms.
Charles Darren Humphrey was born in 2011 at Watford General Hospital. He is the only son of Michelle Humphrey and brother to Chloe Linda Bennett, he is our 2nd grand child. He lived in Watford until 2013 when he and his mother moved to the Forest of Dean area.
Nick Timms lives in Milton Keynes. Chloe became his partner in 2015. They became the proud parents of Isabelle Grace Timms in 2017.
Isabelle Grace Timms, born 2017. She is both Nick and Chloe’s first child and our 1st great-grandchild.
